There are a wide range of sporting, recreational, social and religious clubs, groups, and organisations in Mount Barker.
Balls sports are extremely well catered for with our magnificent Sounness Park Sporting Complex. Frost Oval nearby hosts all things equine, including the huge annual Grapes and Gallops and a wide range religious denominations are catered for.
Others groups and services also include the Rotary Club of Mount Barker, various Art and Craft Groups, Archery, Fishing, Bowls, Golf, Pistol and Riffle, Speedway, Tennis, Polocrosse, Swimming, Bridge and Darts.
The Shire of Plantagenet also runs a state of the art Recreational Centre, located adjacent to the Mount Barker Community College on Albany Highway.
