There are two functional entities that administer and run the Mount Barker Visitor Centre:

The Mount Barker Tourist Bureau - a registered and incorporated, constitutionally governed and elected Board that administers the Mount Barker Visitor Centre.

The Mount Barker Visitor Centre - the customer facing "shop front" of the Mount Barker Tourist Bureau, staffed by a part time, paid Visitor Centre Coordinator who is responsible for the day to day operation of the centre and a number of volunteers.
